Spring has sprung and it's time to chat fashion in the new season. I was joined today by Coral Manson from IG and TikTok accounts @stripeycoral. Coral is a fashion influencer with over £100k followers across social media. We discussed our Spring wish lists, the changes on the high street since our youth and how we shop for clothes differently today. Loads of familiar high street stores have either closed down entirely or moved online and we now shop vintage, second-hand, from social media or just online in general. Coral also shares her Spring wish list and top tips on where to get excellently cut jeans at a really affordable price.

How to get an elevated but casual wardrobe with Jo & Rachel from ByElleven

This episode is for Mums on the run, working women, people with s**t to do who want to look nice but NEED to feel comfortable too. Most of us need a pretty casual wardrobe these days and comfort is KING.

No one wants to do the school run in heels but that doesn't mean we want to look scruffy and unkempt. There are really easy ways to elevate a casual wardrobe and that is the main topic of the show today.

I had this chat with Jo & Rachel from small UK independent brand ByElleven. They stock streetwear-inspired casual wear, design their own line of more elevated clothing and stock upscaled vintage too.

Today I sat down with Keira from Scott-Samuel, a small accessories business here in the UK. We got festive and discussed our favourite party outfits, how it's great to still be casual but with a bit of sparkle, plus the hot trends of the season. 

Last year we saw a lot of silver trousers around but this year there a few more trends out there. Not that you should dress 'trendy!' that's certainly not for everyone. We talked about how you can repurpose what you already own and what to wear if you don't really like dressing up at all.

How your clothes can boost your confidence or hold you back

This episode goes deep into style confidence and finding your sense of self and style confidence. 

Becoming comfortable in your own skin is a lifelong journey and it's harder for some people than others.

The best thing you'll ever wear is confidence but what has that got to do with clothes? EVERYTHING. There are so many hidden emotional messages when it comes to your clothes.

This week I was joined by Katie Miner, a personal stylist from Colorado. We discussed how style rules can be more confusing and restrictive than actually help you. So what can you do instead? When it comes to personal style, it's far better to trust your instincts and work out your style vibe. We are bombarded with choice and it can be so overwhelming so it's no surprise that people end up only wearing a small percentage of their wardrobe. 

The key to having a great wardrobe is to have the right mix pieces in it not lots of volume and the key to great style is knowing your style vibe and what you truly like, sticking to that and ignoring the trends.
